William Byron Should Battle Up Front All Evening At Charlotte
3 years agoWilliam Byron finished third among the Hendrick Motorsports Racing drivers and fourth overall in Saturday qualifying. He finished just 0.001 seconds behind Chase Elliott. There was one tiny bobble in turn four that probably kept Byron from snaring the pole. He was one of five drivers that turned in a lap of under 30 seconds. The No. 24 Chevy should have the ability to keep up even in the longest of runs. Do not be surprised if Byron battles with Larson and Elliott on Sunday for the checkered flag.
