William Byron A Decent DFS Play At Michigan
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron will start from the 19th position in Saturday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. 2020 was supposed to be the year that Byron made the leap, with legendary crew chief, Chad Knaus, and started winning races, but it has been a disappointing season thus far. Byron sits with only six top-10s in 20 races, and outside of strategy plays, hasn't had the speed to lead the pack. In four starts at MIS, Byron ran well in two of them and scored a single top-10 finish. Byron may not be the most inspiring pick for DFS, but his average cost and decent position differential upside make him an option for lineups. Expect Byron to run around or just outside the top-10.
