Willi Castro Still Out Against White Sox
20 seconds agoMinnesota Twins utility man Willi Castro (oblique) is still not back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's contest against the division-rival Chicago White Sox at Target Field. Brooks Lee will make another start at third base and will hit eighth against White Sox right-hander Davis Martin. Castro has been out since injuring his right oblique on April 16, so the Twins could be considering placing him on the injured list if he can't make it back by the end of this week. The 27-year-old Puerto Rican switch-hitter has gotten off to a slow start at the plate in addition to his injury, as he's gone 15-for-66 (.227) with only a homer, five RBI, one steal and seven runs scored as he bounces around the diamond. With Royce Lewis (hamstring) still on the IL, Lee will benefit from extra playing time at third until Castro is ready to return. The former first-rounder is still trying to get going offensively after a 2-for-19 start with a homer and two RBI.
