1 year agoMinnesota Twins utility man Willi Castro (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment on Friday with Triple-A St. Paul, according to MLB.com, and is on route to return in late August or early September. The 26-year-old has been on the injured list since earlier this month after suffering a mild left oblique strain. Across 101 contests this season, Castro's slashing .241/.322/.371 with five homers, 42 runs, 26 RBI, and 29 steals. Baserunning is the only thing keeping the fifth-year player relevant in fantasy leagues, and fantasy managers should only roster him in deeper formats once he's back.--Spencer Seguin
