While Will Zalatoris is an undeniable talent who will certainly win on tour soon, we are dubious about his chances at the Fortinet Championship. The 24-year-old is a far more logical option to deploy on longer and more difficult courses because he is such an elite ball-striker, and more specifically, long-iron player. Unfortunately, Zalatoris has not yet quite figured out his wedges or putter, so when he is tasked with an easier test where birdies are the currency, he fails to capitalize. Over his last 36 rounds, the Wake Forest product ranks outside of the top 120 in this field in both proximity from 75-100 yards and proximity from 100-125 yards. He's talented enough to play well anywhere, but Silverado does not make a ton of sense for him on paper.--Andy Lack
