Will Dissly, Earl Thomas Put On IR
6 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed rookie tight end Will Dissly (knee) and free safety Earl Thomas (leg) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday. Both Dissly and Thomas will miss the rest of the season. Dissly tore his patellar tendon, which is a tough injury to come back from. He won't be guaranteed to be ready for the start of next season. Thomas broke his tibia and won't be back with the Seahawks in 2019 after a dispute with the team about a contract extension. Seattle's secondary is much weaker without the veteran in the picture. Nick Vannett is now the team's only tight end on the roster, but he's not much of a fantasy weapon.
