Wil Myers Hits Second Spring Home Run Sunday
5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-5 victory over the San Francisco Giants. The homer was the 29-year old's second of the spring. Myers is now hitting .308 through 13 at-bats and has performed well this spring as he looks to earn the full-time role in right field. His struggles last season (.239 average, 19 home runs) and consistent injury issues make Myers tough to draft, even at his current ADP of 253. If he can avoid being platooned, Myers could provide decent value as a bench bat.
