Wil Myers Breaks Out In Colorado
7 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers recorded four hits in Monday's 13-5 rout against the Colorado Rockies. Myers' scorecard-stuffing night included two doubles, two RBI, a run and his first stolen base. Monday was Myers' third game back after missing 18 days to an elbow injury, and the performance lifts his season slash line to .346/.346/.538. After Monday's surge, Myers is hitting .350 with eight home runs and 23 RBI in 26 career games at Coors Field. He'll have two more opportunities this series to stay hot in Colorado. If he maintains his health, Myers should again test his benchmark of over 20 homers and steals in 2018.
