Why You Should Limit Your Exposure To Christopher Bell At Charlotte Motor Speedway
6 months agoChristopher Bell will start third in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With just one top-10 finish in the last six races, the Joe Gibbs Racing star is in desperate need of a big weekend to help get his season back on track. While his win at Phoenix did secure him a playoff berth, momentum goes a long way in this sport, which is something he will likely need to contend for the championship this year. Unfortunately for the five-year Cup veteran, despite needing a momentum-swinging performance, it is unlikely that this will happen at Charlotte Motor Speedway as this is a track that he has been just average at throughout his Cup career. With just two top-10 finishes in five starts, Bell's average finish of 16.6 ranks him 13th among active full-time drivers in the series. Likewise, since the launch of the Next Gen car in 2022, Bell is averaging 27.02 DraftKings points on intermediates similar to Charlotte, which ranks just 22nd over this span. Considering that his $9,000 DraftKings salary is the eighth highest on the slate but that his performance at this track and on similar intermediates rank outside the top 10, it is recommended that you limit your exposure (max 5%) to the No. 20 in DFS this weekend.
