6 years agoThe Chicago White Sox are looking at free-agent catcher Yasmani Grandal as a catching upgrade for 2019. Grandal's stock is down after a terrible postseason for the Dodgers in which he struggled both offensively and defensively. However, he managed to slug 24 home runs and drive in 68 runs this year and is one of the more powerful catching bats in the majors. The switch-hitter would be an upgrade over Welington Castillo and could platoon with him in 2019 as the White Sox seek to improve.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
