What To Do With William Byron At Michigan?
1 year agoHeading into Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, many DFS players are wondering what to do with William Byron. With four wins already this season and given his speed in practice and qualifying (he qualified in P7), he is undoubtedly a tempting choice to build our DFS lineups around. However, his past performances at Michigan should give us some cause for concern. Despite finishing second in 2021, the Hendrick Motorsports star has only led 20 laps and recorded just 33 fastest laps in his eight Cup starts at this track. Additionally, he has averaged just 39.31 points on DraftKings (DK) over the last five races here. With a DK salary of $10,000 and with a history of struggling to find and maintain speed at this track, it will be difficult for the No. 24 to hit value this weekend. While he is certainly not a complete fade, do not go overweight on Byron this weekend.
