Weston Wilson Set To Face Live Pitching
Weston Wilson (oblique) is scheduled to face live pitching this week in Clearwater, Florida. This could put him on track to start a minor-league rehab assignment next week and be activated off the injured list in mid-April. This would line up with the original timeline of an expected six-week absence after he sprained his oblique on February 21st. He will serve mostly as a bench bat in Philadelphia, just like he did in 2024 when he posted a productive .284/.347/.489 slash line in 41 games.
