Weston Wilson Set To Face Live Pitching
16 seconds agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Weston Wilson (oblique) is scheduled to face live pitching this week in Clearwater, Florida. This could put him on track to start a minor-league rehab assignment next week and be activated off the injured list in mid-April. This would line up with the original timeline of an expected six-week absence after he sprained his oblique on February 21st. He will serve mostly as a bench bat in Philadelphia, just like he did in 2024 when he posted a productive .284/.347/.489 slash line in 41 games.
