Wendell Smallwood Gets the Start in Week 17
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood got the start and led the backfield in touches in Week 17. He ran the ball 12 times, gaining 53 yards and adding four catches for 24 yards. The Eagles backfield has been one of the most unpredictable in the league, as Smallwood got just five touches in Week 16 before getting the start in this one. Josh Adams ended up with 14 touches, making this a committee heading into the playoffs. No Eagles running back makes for a strong DFS play in the postseason.
