Wendell Carter Jr. To Miss Thursday's Game Against Hornets
3 years agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (wrist) will be sidelined once again on Thursday as the team faces the Charlotte Hornets. The fourth-year pro hasn't been on the court since March 28 as he's been hampered by a left wrist sprain. He hasn't been ruled out for the season yet, but the team only has one game left after Thursday, so it's likely we've seen the end of Carter's 2021-22 campaign. Chuma Okeke has been filling in as a member of the starting five with Carter out. He's been struggling with his shot lately as he's averaging just 7.0 points per game while shooting 27.3% from the field over three April outings.
