Wendell Carter Jr. Records Second Straight Double-Double
4 years agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. put up his second straight double-double in Saturday's blowout loss to the Jazz. Carter produced 19 points, 12 boards, two blocks, and an assist in 34 minutes. He shot well from the free-throw line once again, as he's missed just one free throw on 15 attempts over his last three contests. Now that he's playing 30-plus minutes, these lines should become commonplace for Carter on a Magic team with an open vacancy at the center spot. He'll get a tough matchup on Sunday against MVP candidate Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. Carter has yet to play more than 25 minutes against Denver this season- and it is a tricky matchup, so he might be one to avoid for DFS purposes on Sunday's slate.
