Wendell Carter Jr., Franz Wagner Ruled Out For Sunday’s Game
3 years agoOrlando Magic power forward/center Wendell Carter Jr. (wrist) and small forward Franz Wagner (wrist) will miss Sunday's season finale vs. Miami. Wagner is a candidate for First-team All-Rookie honors after averaging 15.2 points on 46.8% shooting across 79 outings. Wendell Carter Jr. Continues To Carry Questionable Tag Ahead Of Monday
4 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) has been listed as questionable for Monday's game against Charlotte. He has been considered questionable for several games recently before getting ruled out ahead of tip-off. However, it's a sign that Carter Jr. is nearing a return. The 25-year-old has sat out 11 straight games. Carter Jr.'s eventual return will be a bad blow for Goga Bitadze, who's had a good spell during his absence as a starter. Bitadze logged only a handful of minutes when Carter Jr. was healthy. Moritz Wagner will lose some playing time as well, but his spot in the rotation is secure.
