Wendell Carter Jr. Posts Double-Double Versus Pacers
6 years agoChicago Bulls forward/center Wendell Carter Jr. posted a double-double versus the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, recording 12 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes. Head coach Jim Boylen emphasized the importance of defensive rebounding when he was put in charge of the team after Fred Hoiberg's firing, and Carter Jr. provided 10 defensive boards on the night. Lauri Markkanen and Carter Jr. are the future building blocks of the Chicago team, so we should expect to see those two playing together quite often this season. The rookie's value is on the rise, especially in nine-category leagues.
