Weather Could Be An Issue In Browns-Steelers Game
2 months agoWeather could be an issue for the Thursday night divisional clash in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and hosting Browns in Cleveland, with AccuWeather saying wind gusts could reach 38 mph with "periods of rain" and a 91 percent chance of precipitation. Temperature at kickoff is expected to be at 37 degrees. Browns running back Nick Chubb played only 22 offensive snaps in the Week 11 loss to the New Orleans Saints by design with a short turnaround coming, and Cleveland could lean more on Chubb this Thursday, especially given the expected weather. Quarterback Jameis Winston has had at least 41 pass attempts in each of his three starts, but Cleveland probably won't want Winston throwing that much in windy conditions. The Steelers are tied for fifth in opponent yards per rush at 4.1 and are eighth in EPA per opponent rush at 1.3.
