Wayne Ellington Sinks Six Triples Against Rockets
4 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Wayne Ellington demonstrated some great three-point shooting in Friday's loss to the Rockets, going 6-for-10 from downtown en route to 18 points. Jerami Grant finished with a game-high 21 points but he had a tough offensive night with 5-for-14 shooting, so the Pistons really needed for others to step up. That's now three good performances on the bounce by Ellington, who had 16 points on Wednesday against Atlanta and 24 points on Monday against Miami. He has forced his way into the starting lineup and will look to keep up the good form on Saturday against Philly. The Sixers give up 35.3 three-point attempts per game, which puts them in the bottom third of the league, so it's a good spot to perform for Ellington.
