Wayne Ellington Continues Good Run As Starter
6 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Wayne Ellington did what he did best -- sink three-pointers -- on Wednesday against Miami, finishing with 11 points. He shot 3-for-7 from the field, with all of his attempts coming from downtown. The veteran guard, who was snapped up on Feb. 9 as a free agent, also had a pair of steals. Ellington struggled to make an impact at first, but he's been in good form over the last couple of weeks, scoring at least 10 points in seven of nine games. Ellington, who's shooting 45 percent from deep this month, will be in a good spot to perform on Friday, as only Atlanta have allowed more points to opposing shooting guards than the Lakers.
