Commanders Defense Not A Viable Play In Wild-Card Round
33 mins agoThe Washington Commanders defense is a high-risk play in DFS formats facing the high-octane Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last weekend, the Commanders played very well, holding Dallas to just 19 points, including just one touchdown. They tallied two sacks. The previous week, against the Atlanta Falcons, they tallied two sacks with an interception while allowing 24 points. This weekend, they have a much tougher task ahead, facing a Buccaneers offense that has tallied the third-most total yards per game (399.5) and fourth-most points per game (29.5). Quarterback Baker Mayfield has enjoyed a career season throwing for 4,500 yards and 41 scores. Even though the Commanders will welcome back star defensive back Marshon Lattimore (hamstring), they will have a difficult time containing breakout rookie Bucky Irving and wide receivers Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan. They are a high-risk play in DFS that carries minimal upside.
