Commanders Defense Not A Viable Play In Divisional Round
6 mins agoThe Washington Commanders defense is not a viable play in DFS competitions this weekend, facing the top-seeded Detroit Lions. Throughout the regular season, the Lions have scored the most points per game (33.2) and tallied the second-most total yards per game (409.5). Last weekend in Tampa Bay, the Commanders defense allowed just 20 points, tallied one sack, and forced a fumble. The Commanders have only allowed less than 20 points once over their previous four games. In addition, the Lions will welcome back David Montgomery (knee) to the starting lineup, who missed the season's final month due to an MCL sprain. Given the tough matchup against one of the top offensive units in the sport and the hefty projected point total (55.5) this game carries, the Washington defense is a high-risk play in DFS that carries minimal upside.
