Warriors Facing Decisions With Impending Free Agents
2 years agoThe Golden State Warriors have a number of key role players slated to hit free agency this year. The list includes Kevon Looney, Gary Payton II, Andre Iguodala, Nemanja Bjelica, Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson and Damion Lee. Looney and Porter saw the heaviest workload of this group last season. Looney started 80 of the team's 82 regular season games and averaged 6.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Porter led all of the above-mentioned players in minutes played per game last year with 22.1 minutes per contest. Then there's Payton, who was a huge defensive contributor last year, and Iguodala, who has been a member of each of the franchise's four championship teams this past decade. The Warriors certainly won't be able to keep the entire group, so it will be interesting to see which members of last year's squad they bring back.
