3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Miami Marlins. He extended his on-base streak to 41 games and continues his impressive rookie campaign. The 20-year-old returned to the lineup Friday after missing two weeks with a hamstring injury. Franco is slashing .287/.350/.476 with seven home runs, 36 RBI, 51 runs scored, and two stolen bases over 280 plate appearances in 2021.
