Walker Buehler Pitches Disastrous Inning Thursday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler pitched a poor sixth inning in Thursday's game against the Cubs. Buehler, who had just returned from the disabled list with a rib injury, made a relief appearance rather than make another minor league start. The 23-year-old rookie allowed five runs on five hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with no strikeouts, earning him a blown save and a loss. While this outing was a disappointment, Buehler had a solid 2.63 ERA in nine starts prior to his DL stint. His next start has not yet been announced but this one outing should not scare fantasy owners away from starting him.
