Wade Miley Leaves Tuesday's Start In The Second Inning
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starter Wade Miley (lat) exited Tuesday's start against the St. Louis Cardinals prematurely after suffering a left lat strain, according to MLB.com. Prior to his removal, the 36-year-old allowed one run on a solo home run while walking one without any strikeouts across 1.2 innings. Over eight starts this year, Miley owns a solid 3-2 record, 3.67 ERA and 1.13 WHIP, but, like in the past, has struggled to get punchouts, striking out just 24 batters in 41.2 innings. There will be more news concerning the injury after Tuesday's game, but if he's forced to miss time, that doesn't change much in any fantasy league, considering the veteran's limited fantasy value.
