Wade LeBlanc Throws Five Solid Innings On Sunday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc pitched well in Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. LeBlanc lasted five innings, allowing just one run on five hits and a walk while striking out three. The run he allowed was on a solo homer by Darin Ruf in the fourth inning. LeBlanc did not factor in the decision, but he's been a solid enough starter when called upon since joining the Cardinals. They will almost certainly look to upgrade their starting rotation through trades before the deadline, and LeBlanc is too risky to start in most fantasy formats anyway. He can be left on most fantasy waiver wires.
