St. Louis Blues winger Vladimir Tarasenko is set to miss the matchup against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday due to an upper-body injury. Tarasenko was injured in Saturday's game against the New York Rangers. He logged 7:53 minutes of ice time and one shot on goal before heading to the dressing room. He also sat out against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday after exiting during the early stretches. Head coach Mike Yeo told reporters he was hoping the winger would be able to practice Tuesday, but unfortunately that is not the case. The injury could not have come at a worse time, as the Blues are still in the wild-card race and were relying on their highest scoring forward down the stretch. Alexander Steen has moved onto the first line with Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz.--aayushdas
