Vladimir Tarasenko Records Three Points On Monday
5 years agoSt. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko registered a goal and added two assists as his team handed the Colorado Avalanche it's first regulation loss of the season on Monday. The 27-year-old was instrumental in the division victory - also posting a power-play point, a plus-two rating, one shot and four hits in 16:01 of ice time in the contest. In addition, with his trio of points, Tarasenko extended his personal point streak to five games and is off to an impressive start to the campaign with his 10 points (three goals, seven assists) through nine games. The Russian sniper's early-season production is a great sign for fantasy owners as Tarasenko really struggled out of the gate with just 22 points in his first 37 games last season. He'll look to keep rolling when he's back in action against the Kings on Thursday.
