9 months agoOttawa Senators forward Vladimir Tarasenko is garnering significant trade interest as the club approaches the March 8 NHL trade deadline. The veteran signed a one-year deal with the Senators in the offseason but the club figures to be trade-deadline sellers as they sit 16 points back of the second and final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. Tarasenko has recorded 15 goals and 38 points in 55 games on the season while logging 15:59 of ice time per game. Tarasenko has a no-trade clause in his contract, meaning any deal would need to be approved by the player. The Senators will be one of the main teams to keep an eye on in the next week.--Brenton Kemp
