Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Swats Two Homers In Win
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. slugged a pair of long balls on Monday to help pace his club to a 7-3 victory over the Orioles. His solo shot in the fourth put the Jays on the board for the first time before he added a three-run bomb in the seventh to blow the game open as he finished the night going 2-for-4. Guerrero's bat slowed down in the month of August with just three homers and a .259 BA entering this contest, but he still sits top-five in the majors in HR (38), runs (97), RBI (95), and BA (.313). Although he may not tap fully back into his first half dominance at the dish, he'll still remain one of the top fantasy contributors the rest of the way.
