Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Swats Two Homers Friday
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. tagged two homers as the Jays went on to lose to the Rays 9-7 in extras on Friday. He took starter Tyler Glasnow deep in the third inning for a solo job and followed that up with a two run shot to the opposite field off Diego Castillo in extras. He also added an RBI infield single in the first inning, finishing the game going 3-for-5 with a walk. Guerrero continues to rake in his age-22 season as he's now hitting .338 with 13 homers, 34 runs, and 36 RBI through 43 games. The Jays are playing their final series in Dunedin this weekend which has been a hitters haven, but Guerrero will still flourish no matter what park he calls home.
