6 years agoToronto Blue Jays third base prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was promoted to Triple-A on July 28 and is set to join the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday. The son of recently-inducted Hall-Of-Famer Vladimir Guerrero, Guerrero Jr. is the consensus top prospect in baseball. In 61 Double-A games, the young man hit for a gaudy slash line of .402/.449/.671. It will be interesting to see how he handles the better pitches of Triple-A, but he is expected to excel in the upper level too. Dynasty owners must be salivating at the prospect of Guerrero Jr. being called up to the majors before the year is done (and even some standard league players, as well). Expect Guerrero Jr.'s star to continue to shine as long as he stays healthy going forward.--Mauricio Castillo
