Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Blasts Three Homers On Wednesday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. carried the team to a 6-4 win over the New York Yankees on Wednesday. He went 4-for-4 with three home runs, a double and four RBI in the game. His monster game came despite suffering an injury in the second inning of the game. While covering first base, Guerrero's throwing hand was spiked by the cleat of Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks. His hand bled out immensely and he had to receive attention, but he was able to stay in the game and continue his onslaught of Yankees pitching. The 23-year-old is now slashing .391/.417/.957 with four home runs through six games on the year.
