Vincent Trocheck Notches Three Points Thursday
1 year agoNew York Rangers center Vincent Trocheck notched a goal and a pair of assists for a three-game effort to help lead the club to a 4-1 win over the visiting Minnesota Wild. The veteran pivot opened the scoring just 3:56 into the contest before picking up a pair of third-period assists as the Rangers scored three times in the final frame to improve to 10-2-1 on the season. The 30-year-old is an interesting case for fantasy owners. He has produced a healthy four goals and 10 points in 13 games but has seen a decreased shot volume with just 22 shots in that time. However, he has also added 15 penalty minutes to his ledger while he is most valuable in leagues that count hits as he's laid 20 hits on the season. He is a rock-solid fantasy depth piece as a result.
