Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will miss a third consecutive contest on Wednesday against the Hornets. The 23-year-old hasn't been able to shake off left patellar tendon soreness. Williams Jr.'s absence should secure plenty of shots for Luke Kennard and GG Jackson II. Both players tend to be quite inconsistent with their performances, but in Charlotte, they face a team that struggles defensively -- only three teams have a worse defensive rating than the Hornets.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will not suit up for Friday's game against the Orlando Magic, having been downgraded from questionable to out. Williams Jr. lands on the shelf following a 20-minute outing on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers. He is managing left knee soreness. Williams Jr.'s exit from the lineup creates additional playing opportunities for GG Jackson II and Luke Kennard. On Thursday night, neither player impressed, as they combined for 5-for-12 shooting.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) has received a questionable status for Friday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 24-year-old has struggled mightily with injuries all season but has played in four of the team's last five games. He did, however, sit out of one half of their last back-to-back, so it wouldn't be surprising if they held him out of Friday's game after they played Thursday against the Indiana Pacers. Santi Aldama, GG Jackson II, and Luke Kennard will likely receive some more minutes off of the bench if Williams doesn't suit up. The former is still one of the best fantasy options in deep leagues, and he dropped 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in an off night against the Pacers.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will be active on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers. Before the All-Star break, Memphis played out a back-to-back set, and Williams Jr. did not play in the second leg. It has been a tough season for Williams Jr., who has made only six appearances due to health issues. He has averaged 5.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 14.8 minutes. Williams Jr.'s role should grow over the final couple of months of the season if he can stay clear of injuries.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will be inactive against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The team has ruled him out for the contest after initially listing Williams Jr. as questionable. Williams Jr. has only recently returned from a lengthy absence, and it was unlikely that Memphis would have him play both games in a back-to-back situation. GG Jackson II may be more involved in the action on Wednesday with Williams Jr. out. Jackson II struggled on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns but has offered low-tier fantasy value lately, averaging 12.6 points and 3.8 rebounds this month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
