Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn (upper body) might be back in action next week. He will join the team for a brief two-game road trip, which begins on Saturday in L.A., but Dunn isn't quite ready to play yet. However, per Scott Malone of Root Sports, Dunn could return to the lineup later next week. An upper-body injury has kept Dunn out for 15 games. During his absence, Ryker Evans has skated in a top-four role, with Brandon Montour quarterbacking the first power-play unit. It looks like the two will handle extra work for at least three more games.

Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn (upper body) has been placed on long-term Injured Reserve. Dunn has missed one contest and will be absent for a few more, as he will be required to sit out either 24 days or 10 games. The earliest he can return is a matchup against Columbus on Nov. 12. Seattle has called up Cale Fleury for additional defensive depth. Josh Mahura practiced on the first defensive pairing with Adam Larsson on Monday. Brandon Montour has joined the first power-play unit, with Ryker Evans hopping on the second.

Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn (undisclosed) has been labeled as day-to-day ahead of Saturday's matchup against Calgary. Dunn missed the third period of Thursday's 6-4 win over Philadelphia, and Kraken head coach Dan Bylsma suggested it was for precautionary reasons. However, Dunn does appear to be dealing with an injury and didn't practice on Friday. The 27-year-old has already missed one game this season because of an upper-body injury. He has tallied three points (one goal, two assists) in four outings while registering 10 shots on goal and 10 blocks. If Dunn can't go against the Flames, Josh Mahura will replace him in the lineup, with Ryker Evans moving up to a top-pairing role in defense. Evans has been in good form, with four points (one goal, three assists) in five games. He would have even more fantasy value in a larger role.

Seattle Kraken defenseman Vince Dunn missed the third period of Thursday's 6-4 win over Philadelphia for precautionary reasons. Dunn sat out a game last weekend with an upper-body injury, and his early exit on Thursday left fantasy managers worrying, but luckily, he appears to be fine for Saturday's matchup against Calgary. The Kraken will also be delighted to know that Dunn isn't bothered by anything serious and is simply a bit banged up. He's second on the team with 14 blocks and has tallied three points (one goal, two assists) in four appearances this season. Dunn collected a power-play assist on Thursday before his exit.
