3 years agoViktor Hovland will be making his Open Championship debut this week at Royal St. George's. I have my concerns about the ball-striking extraordinaire on a strategic golf course. While I am not suggesting that Pete Dye golf courses are a perfect comparison to British-style links courses, Hovland has really struggled on less straightforward tests littered with complex bunkering and awkward sight-lines. With that being said, the ball-striking still remains elite. Over his last 36 rounds, he also ranks below field average in sand saves and three-putt avoidance. While Hovland possesses elite upside due to his ball-striking prowess, fantasy managers should be weary of his fit at Royal St. George's. --Andy Lack
