Hovland scored a runner-up finish in last year's API and has never missed a cut in four career trips to Bay Hill. The Oklahoma State alum has produced at a rock-solid clip in 2023, logging top-20 finishes in three of his four starts this year. Hovland's ball-striking ability is elite and he's gained strokes tee-to-green in his last eight recorded tournaments.
