Vikings See Kareem Hunt As Potential Fit
1 year agoFree-agent running back Kareem Hunt made a visit with the Minnesota Vikings on Friday. The 28-year-old has previously met with the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts this offseason. The Vikings could be looking to add another back to the mix after the departure of Dalvin Cook. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said that Hunt could be a potential fit for the Vikings. The assumption is that Alexander Mattison is going to be the lead back. That means, Hunt would serve as a backup and probably the primary pass-catcher in the backfield. It's worth noting that running back Ty Chandler put together a strong performance during their first preseason game. That being said, the Vikings might stick with their internal options. Fantasy managers should stay tuned as this situation plays out.
