Vikings Going With Jaren Hall At Quarterback In Week 17
1 year agoThe Minnesota Vikings are making another change at quarterback and will start rookie Jaren Hall on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. It's a bit of a curious move with veteran Nick Mullens throwing for 714 yards and four touchdowns in the last two games, although he did have a costly six interceptions as well. The Vikings' playoff hopes will be on the line in a primetime division-rivalry game, and it will give the team another chance to evaluate the rookie from BYU before the 2023 campaign is up. The 25-year-old was hurt shortly after making his first NFL start in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. The fifth-round pick has completed eight of his 10 passes for 101 yards without a touchdown or interception in two games played. The matchup is a good one, but Hall is nothing more than a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues this weekend.
