3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays optioned infielder Vidal Brujan to Triple-A Durham on Monday. On Saturday, he was called up while Yandy Diaz was placed on the COVID-19 injured list. During his brief stint in the majors, the 24-year-old went 0-for-3 with a walk across one game. Brujan's best asset is his speed and is worth stashing in deep-league formats when he gets called up again. The Rays infielder swiped 44 bases across 103 games at Triple-A in 2021. In a corresponding move, Jeffrey Springs (COVID-19) was activated from the COVID-19 injured list. Springs is primarily used out of the bullpen, posting a 1-0 record with a 0.71 WHIP and nine strikeouts over seven innings in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
