1 year agoThe Spurs selected center Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. There wasn't any doubt about which direction the Spurs were heading on Thursday night, especially since the 19-year-old arguably had the most pre-draft hype since LeBron James. He averaged 21.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in 34 games with the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A, and he has a jumper that is nearly impossible to contest. As a result, Wembanyama should be considered a lock to be taken first overall in all dynasty formats.
