2 years agoWashington National outfielder Victor Robles is headed to the 10-day IL with back spasms. Manager Dave Martinez said that Robles will need an IL stint after being injured on a slide in Saturday's game. Robles had been having a decent season before his injury, slashing .292/.388/.360 while turning in eight stolen bases. He isn't going to hit for power, but if he continues hitting for average and stealing bases he could be useful in deeper leagues. Alex Call will likely replace Robles in centerfield, while utility man Jake Alu will be called up to replace his roster spot.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
