3 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (finger) took a fastball off the right hand after squaring to bunt during Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Giants. It initially looked bad, with Robles in a lot of pain. However, X-rays were taken that came back negative, meaning the Dominican is dealing with a right index-finger contusion. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day for now. Robles had been enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in Seattle after several underwhelming seasons in Washington, slashing .280/.340/.413 with 13 extra-base hits and 14 steals in just 51 games for the Mariners, so hopefully he can return soon.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
