Victor Reyes Homers, Steals A Base In Thursday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Victor Reyes had a strong offensive game in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Texas Rangers. He went 1-for-1 with a home run, a walk, a stolen base, two runs and two RBI. Reyes was called back up to the Tigers from Triple-A last weekend. This was just his second start since rejoining the team. He went 4-for-5 with three runs in the previous one. Reyes has played a total of 30 games for the Tigers this year and he has slashed .202/.234/.337 with two home runs, three stolen bases, six RBI and 14 runs. He could see more regular playing time soon, especially following the team's release of Nomar Mazara. Deep league managers and AL-only managers should keep an eye on him, but he can remain on waivers in all leagues for now.
