Victor Olofsson Nets Sixth Power-Play Goal Of The Year
4 years agoBuffalo Sabres winger Victor Olofsson scored his sixth power-play goal of the year on Tuesday, helping the team to a 4-1 victory over New Jersey. He opened the scoring in the contest in the middle of the second frame, with Sam Reinhart and Rasmus Dahlin registering the assists. Reinhart finished with two assists to take his point streak to four games. Olofsson has been crushing it with the man advantage throughout the season, as he also has six power-play assists. Joe Pavelski and Auston Matthews are the only players in the league to score more power-play goals. The Swedish winger has seven total goals to his name, and he has a chance to go to work against the Devils again on Thursday. New Jersey is the worst penalty killing team in the league with their efficiency below 60 percent.
