6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis is coming off his best fantasy outing of the season, registering three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown in Week 6. As such, some fantasy owners in need of a bye-week fill-in may be tempted to latch on to a potential trend. If you find yourself in this situation, bear in mind that you'll be banking heavily on the hope that Davis finds the endzone. He hasn't seen more than three targets in a game yet this season. Even with Jimmy Graham and Jared Cook on byes this week, you can scour the waiver wire for tight ends who stand to see more work than Davis against the Cowboys.--Chris O'Reilly
