Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen had another perfect night at the office on Thursday, posting a second consecutive shutout in a 3-0 win over Chicago. After keeping San Jose from scoring on Monday with 28 saves, Luukkonen left the Blackhawks frustrated with 19 saves. He's now remained unbeaten for 157:55, which is the longest shutout streak by a Sabres goalie since Ryan Miller went 161:35 without allowing a goal in 2010-11. It's an impressive feat by Luukkonen, although he's also had a favorable run of games, with San Jose and Chicago being the two lowest-scoring teams in the league. Saturday's meeting with Tampa Bay promises to be a much tougher test for Luukkonen, who improved to 11-9-2 on Thursday. The Finnish netminder boasts three shutouts overall for the season and has registered a 2.64 goals-against average with a .909 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
