Tyus Jones Ties Season High With 15 Points Off Bench
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point/shooting guard Tyus Jones played just 22 minutes as a reserve in Thursday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but managed to tie his season high in scoring with 15 points. Jones shot 6-for-7 overall, including 3-for-4 from long range, while also adding two rebounds and two assists. He last hit the 15-point mark on Opening Night, now having recorded double-digit scoring performances in three consecutive outings for the first time all year. Even so, Jones has little season-long fantasy value so long as JA Morant is healthy, but he does present a solid upside DFS punt play on nights that feature shorter slates.
